  • Room & ICU charges.
  • Day Care Procedures - Medical expenses for 140 different Day Care procedures which do not require 24 hours hospitalization due to technological advancement.
  • Domiciliary Treatment - Medical Expenses incurred by an Insured Person for availing medical treatment at his home which would otherwise have required hospitalization.
  • Organ Donor - In-patient medical expenses incurred on the insured (i.e. recipient) and the organ donor for harvesting (i.e. surgery & storage of organ) for organ transplantation.

Non Coverage

  • War or any act of war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, war like operations (whether war be declared or not or caused during service in the armed forces of any country), civil war, public defence, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped acts, nuclear weapons/materials, chemical and biological weapons, radiation of any kind.
  • Any Insured Person committing or attempting to commit a breach of law with criminal intent, or intentional self injury or attempted suicide while sane or insane.
  • Any Insured Person’s participation or involvement in naval, military or air force operation, racing, diving, aviation, scuba diving, parachuting, hang-gliding, rock or mountain climbing.
  • Treatment of Obesity and any weight control program.
  • Psychiatric, mental disorders (including mental health treatments); Parkinson and Alzheimer’s disease; general debility or exhaustion (“run-down condition”); congenital internal or external diseases, defects or anomalies; genetic disorders; stem cell implantation or surgery; or growth hormone therapy; sleep-apnoea.
  • Venereal disease, sexually transmitted disease or illness; “AIDS” (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) and/or infection with HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus) including but not limited to conditions related to or arising out of HIV/AIDS such as ARC (AIDS related complex), Lymphomas in brain, Kaposi’s sarcoma, tuberculosis.
  • Pregnancy (including voluntary termination), miscarriage (except as a result of an Accident or Illness), maternity or birth (including caesarean section) except in the case of ectopic pregnancy in relation to 1)a) only.
  • Sterility, treatment whether to effect or to treat infertility; any fertility, sub-fertility or assisted conception procedure; surrogate or vicarious pregnancy; birth control, contraceptive supplies or services including complications arising due to supplying services.
  • Save as and to the extent provided for under 1)h), Dental treatment and surgery of any kind, unless requiring Hospitalisation.
  • Any treatment or part of a treatment that is not of a reasonable charge, not medically necessary; drugs or treatments which are not supported by a prescription.
  • Artificial limbs, crutches or any other external appliance and/or device used for diagnosis or treatment (except when used intra-operatively).
  • Any exclusion mentioned in the Schedule or the breach of any specific condition mentioned in the Schedule and accepted by the insured, as per Our underwriting guidelines.
  • Any non medical expenses (list enclosed)
  • Any treatment or part of a treatment that is not of a reasonable charge, not medically necessary; drugs or treatments which are not supported by a prescription.
  • Artificial limbs, crutches or any other external appliance and/or device used for diagnosis or treatment (except when used intra-operatively).
  • Any exclusion mentioned in the Schedule or the breach of any specific condition mentioned in the Schedule and accepted by the insured, as per Our underwriting guidelines.

  • Critical Illness Benefit – Covers listed 11 critical illnesses. This Policy provides a lump sum amount as stated in the Schedule of the Benefits if You are first time diagnosed to be suffering from any of the below listed Critical Illness/s & The signs or symptoms of the Critical Illness experienced by the Insured Person commenced more than Ninety (90) days following the Issue Date of the Certificate of Insurance or the last Commencement Date, whichever is later & The person has to survive the illness by thirty (30) days or more, from the date of diagnosis.
  • Only one lump sum payment shall be provided during the Insured’s lifetime regardless of the number of Critical Illness, incapacities or treatments suffered by him/her. This Benefit will be terminated after the lump sum payment. If a Critical Illness is diagnosed within Ninety (90) days following the effective date or the date of its last reinstatement of this Policy, whichever is later, the Company’s liability shall be limited to the refund of premiums paid under this Policy.
  • Second Opinion - The second opinion benefit is valid only if your Critical Illness Insurance Policy is in force and the Insured Person has been diagnosed with any one of the 11 Covered Critical Illnesses defined in this policy. Click Here for Second Opinion
  • If one purchases a health insurance policy for self /spouse/children, he/she can claim a tax deduction of upto Rs. 25000.   • Any loss resulting directly or indirectly, contributed or aggravated or prolonged by childbirth or from pregnancy, or
